AVON, Ohio, August 25, 2026 – Knorr-Bremse has announced the appointment of Piotr Sroka as President and CEO, Knorr-Bremse North America, expanding his leadership responsibilities to include oversight and strategic alignment across the company's North American businesses. Sroka will continue to serve as President and CEO of Bendix, LLC.

The appointment reflects Knorr-Bremse's commitment to strengthening collaboration across its North American operations and advancing its One North America vision. Under this approach, the company will increase alignment between its Rail and Commercial Vehicle Systems divisions while maintaining the unique strengths, customer focus, and business accountability of each business.

Throughout his career with Knorr-Bremse and Bendix, Sroka has demonstrated a strong record of business leadership, operational excellence, customer focus, and team development. In his expanded role, he will be responsible for helping drive greater regional alignment, faster decision-making, enhanced collaboration, and profitable growth across North America.

As part of the broader announcement, Knorr-Bremse also shared that Ulisses Camilo will retire as President and CEO of the North America Rail Division, remaining with the company through the end of 2026 as an executive advisor, and that Ilan Elad has been appointed President and CEO of Rail Americas, effective September 14, 2026.
